The results of the November 2008 Presidential election shows Barack Obama won John McCain, 52.9%-45.7%, See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_2008 . A couple months after the election, March 2009, in a “hypothetical” Presidential race between Barack Obama and Sarah Palin, “Public Policy Polling” suggest that “Obama blows out Palin” ”55-35.” See http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/PPP_Release_National_318.pdf .

Indeed, “according to a new CBS News/New York Times poll,” President Obama’s “overall approval rating” “has hit a new high of 66 percent, up from 64 percent last month,” See http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/04/06/opinion/polls/main4923710.shtml .

However, even with Obama’s impressive approval rating, fresh Polls taken by Ryan C. [America's greatest political analyst] shows Obama no longer “blows out Palin in hypothetical contest.” In fact, as time goes on the race is becoming closer and Sarah Palin would perform better than John McCain which is not surprising because even John McCain accurately, said: “Over 50 million people voted for me and Sarah Palin-mostly for Sarah Palin,” See http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/03/26/mccain-people-voted-mostly-for-sarah-palin-last-year/ . If Presidential elections were held on Thursday, April 9, 2009-Friday, April 10, 2009, Barack Obama would now beat Sarah Palin by a much smaller lead, 53.85%-46.15%. See:

Sarah Palin is the second “most-admired” in America, see http://www.adn.com/palin/story/635555.html . In addition, in 2008 Sarah Palin is named “Conservative of the Year,” see http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=29995 , http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=29994 .

It was Democrat Governor Ed Rendell praised Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s “very good political instincts,” see http://www.philly.com/philly/hp/news_update/35537684.html . For example, in October 2008 Sarah Palin said that there should be a “impose” “spending freeze” to cover all but the most vital functions of US government in order to cut wasteful spending,” see http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/07/campaign.wrap/index.html . Sarah Palin, said: “We have to do this. You know, we’re in a hole. What do you do when you’re in a hole? You don’t want to be there. You stop digging.” Recently, on January 29, 2009, President Barack Obama acknowledged: “The American people understand that we’ve got a big hole that we’ve got to dig ourselves out of–but they don’t like the idea that people are digging a bigger hole even as they’re being asked to fill it up,” see http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog_post/Shameful/ .

However, in her successful October 2008 vice presidential debate, Sarah Palin said this: “Barack Obama is proposing…nearly a trillion dollars in new spending that he’s proposing is the backwards way of trying to grow our economy,” see http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/12/debate.transcript/ . Accodingly, The Washington Times now reports what Sarah Palin warned of four months ago. They write: “President Obama’s economic recovery package will actually hurt the economy more in the long run than if he were to do nothing, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said…,” see http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/feb/04/cbo-obama-stimulus-harmful-over-long-haul/ .

Returning back to Alaska, on Monday, December 15, 2008, Sarah Palin proposed a 7 percent spending decrease in the operating and capital budget for the next fiscal year, which begins July 1st. “The budget plan is consistent with our fiscal policy that has guided this administration, and built on our commitment to live within our means, and save for the future and control government spending,” Sarah Palin said at a news conference, see http://www.alaskajournal.com/stories/122108/hom_20081221008.shtml . Accordingly, Sarah Palin has turned down a $25,000 a year pay raise, see http://www.ktuu.com/Global/story.asp?S=9552305&nav=menu510_2 , http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2008/12/26/sarah-palin-turns-down-pay-raise/ . And in her January 22,2009, State of the State address, Sarah Palin stated this: “I am implementing a hiring freeze, exempting public safety, and I am restricting non-essential purchases…when our federal government proposes a deficit in excess of a trillion this year alone, we have all the cautionary examples we need in the virtues of living within our means. With less revenue, we have an obligation to spend less money,” see http://www.gov.state.ak.us/news.php?id=1610 .
